14 June 1900 census of Casa, Perry County, AR, found Daniel and family living in dwelling #104. Next door in #103 was Tennessee Guffey (widow of brother Joshua) and family. Nearby in dwelling #67 was father Daniel Guffey. Daniel and Nancy said that they had been married 4 years and all 3 of their children were still living:
