13 June 1900 census of Summit, Chautauqua County, KS, found the Henson family living in dwelling #65. Also in the home was Hannah's mother, Nancy Sterling. George and Hannah said that they had been married 23 years and 6 of their 8 children were still living. Nancy Sterling said that her one child was still living:

Obituary -
Moline Rites for Mrs. Bertha Wells
Funeral services for Bertha Z. Wells, 89, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, in the Watt Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jon F. Ward officiating. Burial was in the Round Mound cemetery. She died Wednesday, May 16, in the Sedan City hospital.
Mrs. Wells was born Jan. 12, 1884, in Chautauqua county, the daughter of George and Anna (Sterling) Henson. She was married to Irvin S. Wells April 12, 1912 at Sedan and to this union one daughter was born. Mr. Wells preceded her in death. Mr. and Mrs. Wells lived on a farm near Lowe. Mrs. Wells had been a resident of the Elk Manor Nursing Home at Moline the last few years of her life. She was a member of the Christian church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Meda Wolfe, of Grenola; a brother, Charles Henson, of Sedan; a sister Mrs. Ella Lambert, of Englewood, Colo.; 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granchild.
