Martin and Alice said that they had been married less than 1 year and had no children: Martin M. He and his wife Alice were living in Gravette, Benton County, AR, where he was self-employed in farming. 12 April 1930 census of Dickson, Benton County, AR, found the Rotramel family living in dwelling #63. Martin and Alice said that they were first married at ages 27 and 17 respectively. Also in the household was Martin's widowed brother Joseph W. Rotramel: Martin M. Rotramel (1963) "SOUTHWEST CITY, Mo.-- Services for Martin M. Rotramel, 81 years old, of Southwest City, who died Saturday night in Gravettte Medical Center after a long illness will be at 10 o'clock this afternoon in the Baptist church of Gravette. The Rev. A. V. Canada will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery under direction of Pyeatte funeral home of Gravette. Born March 11, 1882, in Hiwasse, Ark., Mr. Rotramel was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Alice Rotramel; Seven daughters, Mrs. Ethel Hatfietd of Porterville, Calif., Mrs. Bertha Walden of El Monte, Calif., Mrs. Edna Maddox, Mrs Gertrude Mahaffey, Mrs. Esther Robinson, Mrs. Dorothy Short and Mrs. Connie Nussman, all of Wichita, Kan.; four sons, Roy Rotramel and Clinton Rotramel, both of Wichita, Everett Rotramel of the home and Ronald Rotramel, serving with the air force in Arizona; 36 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren." Arkansas Death Certificate states that Martin died from a Cerebral Vascular Accident at the Gravette Medical Center Hospital.
