She had been ill for three years. Mrs. Hodges had lived in California for 20 years and had resided in Watsonville off and on during the last few years. She returned to Watsonville a month ago. Surviving are her husband, Lester C. Hodges, Route 1 Box 576, three daughters, Mrs. Ada Lowe of Nevada, Mrs. Hattie Fugitt of Watsonville, and Mrs. Mary Ellis of Stockton, three sons, Warren Miller of Watsonville, and Ralph and Jess Miller of Sacramento. Two brothers, Lee Hamilton of Skyatook (Skiatook), Oklahoma and James Hamilton of Gravette, Arkansas, 24 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Christian Church of Decatur, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at White's Mortuary. Burial will be in the family plot in the Pajaro Valley Memorial Park. (Watsonville Register-Pajaronian dated Wednesday, 14 Feb 1951)
